Busey Group named to Metro 50 for the third time

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Busey Group was recognized Tuesday evening at the annual Metro 50 awards ceremony and dinner held at the Cox Convention Center.
The award is coordinated by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce and recognizes the growth of privately held companies in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.
The Busey Group was named the 27th fastest growing company in Oklahoma City for 2009.
Phil G. Busey Sr., Chairman and CEO and Joseph Temple, President accepted the award.
“We are honored to be recognized by the chamber and Metro 50 for the third time.” Busey said. “We look forward to continued growth. We have a great team of employees that are dedicated to supporting the aerospace and energy business.”
This is the third time the company has been recognized in Metro 50. The company ranked 41 in 2008 and was number three in 2005.
The Busey Group, founded in 2000, has operations in the aerospace, defense and energy industries. Services include program management, pilot and mission crew training, simulator support, courseware development, natural gas field operations and fleet and heavy equipment leasing. The Busey Group’s operations are nationwide.
