DRG inks second $50 million subcontract with defense contractor

OKLAHOMA CITY – Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma, LLC (DRG), a Busey Group company, has signed another subcontract with defense contractor FlightSafety Services Corporation to train USAF service men and women on the KC-10.   The contract will start in July.  The value exceeds $50 million over 4 and half years.
 
DRG signed a $50 million five-year subcontract with FlightSafety to provide training services on the Air Force C-5 Galaxy aircrew training program in March.
 
DRG, undergoing the biggest growth in company’s 9-year history has secured nearly $150 million worth of contract work with major defense contractors since January.
 
DRG will hire 98 people to support this effort.  The employees will be located at Travis AFB, CA and McGuire AFB, NJ. DRG will provide training operations and simulator maintenance services.

The Boeing built KC-10 Extender is an Air Mobility Command advanced tanker and cargo aircraft designed to provide increased global mobility for U.S. armed forces.  The Air Force maintains an active KC-10 inventory of 59.
