Busey Group donates to Skyline

OKLAHOMA CITY - Busey Group employees prepare sacks to deliver to the food bank at Skyline Urban Minisitries. They delivered more than $1,100 worth of food and personal hygiene items, plus a company check for $1,500 to Skyline. The food filled 79 grocery sacks. Skyline, incorporated in 1974, is an urban missions program to support those in need. In 2007, the food pantry served 13108 individuals from 5949 families in Oklahoma, and the pantry was open 239 days.
In 2006, Skyline served 5717 families made up of 12640 individuals. The daily average number of people served was 54 which was 2 more than 2006. For more information on Skyline, and how you can contribute or volunteer, visit: skylineurbanministry.org
