Busey company receives Patriotic Employer award

OKLAHOMA CITY - Busey Group company Delaware Resource Group has received the Patriotic Employer award from the U.S. Department of Defense. The honor is given to those companies who practice personnel policies that support employee participation in the National Guard and Reserve.

"The military is very proud of the support this company gives to its employees who serve in the Reserve and Guard," said Judy Hindman, military liaison for the Employee Support of the Guard and Reserve.

"It's the least we can do for all that they do for us," said Phil G. Busey, chairman and CEO of the Busey Group of Companies.

Delaware Resource Group currently employs 16 individuals who serve our nation.

"We are proud of the number of employees who serve," said Brian Busey, vice president of human resources. "We try our best to do what we can to support our employees when they get called to serve."

Delaware Resource Group, based in Oklahoma City, provides aircrew training and to several military platforms. The company also provides natural gas services.
