Busey Company Named Supplier Diversity-Vendor of the Year by Marathon

OKLAHOMA CITY - Delaware Resource Group, a Busey Group company has been selected for the Marathon Living Our Values Supplier Diversity-Vendor of the Year Award. This is a national award. Marathon has been in business over 120 years, is a Fortune 500 company and a global supplier of petroleum products and services.

Delaware Resource Group, a Native American-owned business, earned the award by providing quality oil/gas field service operations, administrative support, rig supervision, field maintenance, construction, heavy equipment, trucks and supplies to Marathon Oil Corporation.

Some of the criteria Delaware Resource Group was measured by include commitment to safety, ethics, quality, cost competitiveness and on time delivery.

The company began providing services to Marathon Oil Corporation in 2007. Delaware Resource Group is also involved in the aerospace industry and provides pilot and aircrew training, academic instruction, courseware development and simulator maintenance services to several programs within the U.S. Air Force.
